Case Study - Red Run

As a proud partner of Barclays Business Banking, Propel had the privilege of sponsoring the High Growth Company category at the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2024 - where the Red Run was named as a truly deserving winner. To honour their incredible achievement, the Propel team visited Red Run’s headquarters to showcase the inspiring journey behind their success.

Founded in 2020 by sisters Megan Kimmance and Abby Adderley, Red Run began as a homegrown idea during the COVID-19 lockdown. What started modestly has since evolved into a fast-growing force in fitness and streetwear fashion. After launching their first store at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock, the brand expanded into a larger retail space at Liverpool ONE in the city centre. Today, Red Run boasts a dedicated in-house team across design, marketing, social media, and customer service.

Their growth shows no signs of slowing, having secured a major business partnership and set their sights on expanding across the UK - with ambitions that reach even further afield.
Reflecting on Red Run’s triumph at the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2024, Co-Founder and Creative Director, Megan Kimmance shared her thoughts: “Me and Abby honestly didn’t anticipate the win. It was such an experience to be with that calibre of businesses up against us. To be winners was amazing.”
